The ICP Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH with its headquarters in Karlsruhe was founded at the turn of the year 1990/91 by Prof. Dr. Dr. Kurt Czurda and the current managing directors Dipl.-Ing. Gerd Burkhardt and Dr. Thomas Egloffstein. Since then, ICP has successfully established itself on the market and developed from an initial three-man office to an internationally operating group of companies with over 80 employees: Highly qualified and experienced civil engineers, geologists, environmental and surveying engineers guarantee the timely implementation of all projects at the latest state of the art.
Our work focuses on waste management, contaminated sites, geotechnics, landfill technology, construction in existing buildings, environmental planning as well as further education and knowledge transfer. A special field with application potential for robots is the rehabilitation of drainage pipes and shafts in landfills.
ICP contributes its special knowledge of landfills and contaminated sites, of the structure, composition, and hazard potential for the joint project partners. In the course of the requirements analysis, ICP will define concrete system requirements and support the selection of suitable robot technologies and coordinate their later use. ICP will actively participate in the development of the further training network for users, especially the helpdesk as a central contact point for all questions concerning robotic systems and their use for the remediation and decontamination of landfills and contaminated sites. In addition, ICP would like to network users and developers of robot technologies on the basis of specific questions in current remediation projects.
