ROBDEKON is your contact for all questions concerning robot-based decontamination. The spectrum of the competence center ranges from autonomous heavy construction machines to robot-based decontamination for the disposal of contaminated objects with a high risk potential for humans. ROBDEKON is equipped with extensive expertise in all related technical fields of sensors, perception, manipulation and motion planning.
For users of decontamination technology, services provided by the competence center could, e.g., consist of feasibility studies for your specific task. ROBDEKON's experts have a thorough knowledge of the state of the art and can evaluate how you can employ modern technologies to increase safety and remain efficient. The broad expertise of ROBDEKON partners supports you in all stages of development: From conceptual design to algorithms to implementation on a real system.
Are you a provider of construction machinery or decontamination technology? Then ROBDEKON can tell you how to make your equipment fit for the future. The competence center can advise you which basic technical requirements must be met in order to be able to use the modern methods from ROBDEKON.
The experts from the competence center are also available to help you with regulatory requirements. You will gain insight into the technical processes and can use the ROBDEKON expertise to make an informed decision and assess which regulatory interventions are technically feasible.
Research institutions can exchange ideas with ROBDEKON partners on a technical level and use the services of the ROBDEKON laboratories. ROBDEKON is open to collaborations.
We offer an annual participation event in autumn, where interested parties from the above-mentioned interest groups can inform themselves about the activities in ROBDEKON, but can also bring their own questions to the attention of the research team. The participation event has a changing central theme, such as »teleoperation and telepresence technologies« for example. The Competence Center will present the state of the art, while users and integrators share their practical views. In accordance with the topic, the laboratories can be visited and demonstrations take place that allow the technologies developed to be experienced up close.
